KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Here are news stories and factors that may affect the Malaysian stock market on Wednesday.

Political turmoil in niehgbouring Thailand and falling crude oil prices could further hit Malaysian shares. The key index <.KLSE> lost 1.2 percent on Tuesday. Malaysia's dominant phone company Telekom Malaysia might be in focus after the company said it has been awarded an 11.31 billion ringgit ($3.3 billion) government contract to develop Malaysia's high-speed broadband network.
