Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said he is seeking an audience with Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah following the offer by state executive councillor and Bukit Lanjan assemblywoman Elizabeth Wong to resign after nude pictures of her appeared on the Internet on Monday.
Khalid said he had received Wong's letter.
In a statement issued yesterday, the menteri besar said he would brief the Sultan on the turn of events and seek his guidance on the issue.
He said that in view of the trying circumstances and the obvious stress she was going through, Wong had been told to go on leave and take a deserved rest.
Khalid described the current events as unfortunate as she had been an exemplary executive councillor.
"It is most unfortunate that certain elements have resorted to such despicable acts to smear her name and integrity. I am sure Malaysians and the people of Selangor will reject the use of such shameful tactics and join me in condemning the desperate people responsible."
Tak tau la apa nak kata.
ReplyDeleteKalau perkara macam ni pon nak rujuk sultan lebih baik serah kan segala pentadbiran selangor kepada sultan.
Jangan cari masalah Khalid. Rujuk sultan mengikut perlembagaan saja. Tak lebih dari itu.
Kalau PKR dan Anwar takleh tangani masalah ini macam mana nak jadi PM dan mentadbir Malaysia.
Saya syor kan Khalid letak jawatan saja sebab tak reti perlembagan. Oh, sejak bila sultan jadi penasihat PKR?
Malaysia 1,
aku rasa baik adaakan pilihan raya seluruh Selangor....pakatan rakyat selangor tak tau nak buat keputusan.bubarkan dewan selangorrrr
