UMNO's choice of nominating ISA as their candidate reflects their careless attitude and their willinness to spurn their responsbility towards the BP voters & the malaysian citizens at large, who expect 'clean' individuals to be their representatives in both legislative houses. UMNO is willing to do 'anything'to win the BP by-E just to break PR's continuous winning streak in the last 7 of the 8 by-Es. as for the racist BN policies under Najib, just look at the numerous indian based parties & the new 'makkal sakthi' party, which itself is a classic case of the 'divide & rule' policy to further fragment the indian people (voters) in our country.

After Merdeka UMNO has reverse back everything to 1 race, put hindrances to non-malay and backed Malay in all jobs, education ,Land, economy, some economical powerful still can work hard to stay on par despite of the discriminatory policies, many minority are marginalised to the worst, because same Apartheid standard are imposed on to Poor and Underprivileged because of low political and economical position versus those can compete. The current force that push for better fair system is still pending until the current govern resist change, they may think that its pointless if the country become prosperous advance country while they loose to other races if allowed compete fairly ,they rather choose to be like this forever providing they have the special privilege to reserve the economical cake themselves.

"Corruption and wastage of funds are the main reasons why Malaysia is lagging behind the other countries." The other important reason is the ethnoreligious apartheid policy(a self explanatory term coined by Forbes) implemented by UMNO when he was in Government and which gained momentum under Mahathir. Under this policy, incompetent malays were blatantly given preference over highly competent and superior non-malays in University admissions and promotions in Universities and the public service. This resulted in a drastic drop in the quality of our work force at the top level and a sharp drop in productivity at all levels. This is because those who were discriminated felt it was useless to work hard as they would be bypassed because of their ethnicity and the beneficiaricies of the UMNO created apartheid felt they would get promoted, even if they did very little work. Under Najib's 1Malaysia these racist policies are thriving, revealing the hollowness of his slogan.
Racist books distributed in Bagan Pinang
ReplyDeletePORT DICKSON, Oct 3 — Even before the beginning of the official campaign period for the Bagan Pinang by-election, the Pakatan Rakyat received the first blow when books containing various allegations against the coalition's leaders were distributed in the constituency.
The two books were found placed on the windscreen of every car parked along the road in Batu 7 near here, and it is still unclear who was responsible for the distribution.

Until the people (and for the most part UMNO / BN) of this country move on from this clandestine & neanderthal mentality, there will be no progress. The world is moving on and leaving our nation further and further behind.

Well, what are the police waiting for? Arrest those responsible for such irresponsible acts - promotion of racism and stoking of racial tensions - real or unreal - INTENTIONALLY CREATED !!!!
written by fedddup, October 03, 2009
BN playing the race card again and again. Only they have the funds (eventually the money is from the rakyat) to print and distribute those books for free. Bladi racist! Why can't the Malays (being Muslims) cannot accept the fact that a leader of a multi racial country must be fair to all, majority and minorities. Isn't this being highlighted in the media already or are they themselves still going against the teaching of their own religion?
So what is the police going to do? just close one eye, sit and watch the fun?
