（雪蘭莪‧八打靈再也）公正黨顧問拿督斯里安華說，吉隆坡中央醫院在他坐牢期間，已經收集了他約8種脫氧核糖核酸（DNA）檢驗樣本。
他說，這些脫氧核糖核酸樣本都是從他身上獲取，包括他的腎脫氧核糖核酸樣本，有關當局是在他過去6年監禁期間取得這些樣本。
“在2001年、2002年甚至2004年，吉隆坡中央醫院擁有我完整的脫氧核糖核酸樣本......這些證據都是可以拿上法庭，是不能被挑戰的。”
安華週六（7月19日）在公正黨總部向支持者發表演講時表示，政府醫院的醫生以“會還他清白為由”，要求他的血液樣本，從中進行脫氧核糖核酸檢驗，但是卻遭到他拒絕。
不過，他說，有關當局以脫氧核糖核酸殘舊為由，要求他重新給樣本的理由無法令他接受，因為脫氧核糖核酸不管過了多少年都是一樣的。
點名針對醫院負責人
他說，他不會指責普通醫生及警員，因為他們都是奉命行事，而且他們也很友善的對待他，他所要針對的人是有關當局的負責人。
他表示，他在接受身體檢驗，脫完身上所有衣物只剩下底褲，但是有關當局也要求他脫掉，以檢查他的私處。
他說，有關當局還要拍照，但是他拒絕，因為他們要的照片在10年前已經有了，根本不需重新再拍照，而且他也擔心他們可能將他的裸照上載至youtube。
“如果我都受到這樣的對待，平民百姓又怎樣？”
另外，他表示，妻子拿督斯里旺阿茲莎勸告他日後聘請助理時不要選擇太年輕或太英俊的，這導致他只能選擇80歲的老頭成為他的助理。
他也呼吁所有支持者不要輕易被警方挑釁。
