Gov’t-MILF peace talks on again
KONSPIRASI LIWAT 2!!!
Saiful kemudiannya memberitahu bahawa dia mahu membuat laporan polis, lantas Dr. mohamed osman mencadangkan dia (Saiful) pergi untuk membuat pemeriksaan kedua dihospital kerajaan.
Laporan doktor amat jelas.

Malaysia to try to stabilise falling palm oil prices: report
Peter Chin, minister of plantation industries and commodities, told the Sunday Star newspaper the government wanted to make sure that the almost 25-percent drop in prices in recent months did not become a long-term trend.
"The ministry expects palm oil to contribute up to 60 billion ringgit (19 billion dollars) in revenue to the country's coffers this year, but the substantial drop in the global price may upset this target," he said.
"We are worried this may be the start of a further decline in the price of palm oil and we will take counter-measures to maintain a good price," the newspaper quoted him as saying.
In the past week, palm oil prices fell to 3,095 ringgit per tonne from 3,500 ringgit. The price early this year was at 4,000 per tonne.
Chin said Malaysia will export crude -- not refined -- palm oil to China, India, Pakistan and the Middle East.
It will also increase exports to Western countries where palm oil can be used as bio-fuel during the upcoming northern hemisphere winter, he said.
Chin said other measures include increasing the usage of crude palm oil for bio-fuel production in Malaysia.
Oil palm cultivation occupies 67 percent of Malaysia's total agricultural land, and some 500,000 people are engaged in the sector. Malaysia hopes palm oil production will hit 20 million tonnes by 2020.
Anwar goes for Kulim Bandar Baharu
KULIM, July 28 — Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to contest in the Kulim Bandar Baharu parliamentary by-election if an election court next month calls for one.
He has set his eyes on the Kulim Bandar Baru seat which is subject of an election petition judgment at the High Court's on Aug 19. The petition was made by Umno-Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Abdul Aziz Sheikh Fadzir against winner Parti Keadilan Rakyat's Zulkifli Noordin.
The PKR de facto leader said he had consulted other Pakatan Rakyat leaders Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang and they had promised to give him full support.
"I had my doubts about an hour ago but now, God willing, yes (I will contest here)," Anwar declared at about 11pm last night to thousands of a cheering multiracial crowd packing the Chinese Recreational Club here.
The night before in Kuala Lumpur, Anwar had said he was deciding between Kulim Bandar Baharu and Bandar Tun Razak in his attempt to enter Parliament — one more step in his political comeback since being freed from jail in 2004 on corruption and sodomy convictions.Anwar addressing the crowd in the rally. — Picture by Adib Zalkapli
Of the voters, 34,667 or 67.93 per cent are Malays, Chinese 10,868 (21.13 per cent), Indians 5,907 (11.48 per cent) and others 2. The number of postal voters is 1,640.
In his petition, Umno's Abdul Aziz is asking the court to declare the results for the constituency null and void. He claimed that the PKR MP had failed to submit his statement of expenditure when he contested the Kuala Langat parliamentary seat in the previous general election in 2004.
The Election Act stipulates that candidates who failed to submit their statement of expenditure can be disqualified from contesting future elections.
Anwar told his supporters here that Zulkifli was the first PKR MP who had offered to make way for him to ensure his return to Parliament.
"He is an example of a young man who understands the meaning of struggle and willing to sacrifice for it," he added.
After his release, the former deputy prime minister was barred by law from active politics for five years, which ended in late April.
Anwar claimed the date for the last general election was intentionally set on March 8 to prevent him from contesting.
"But now my return to Parliament will pave the way for BN MPs to cross over to Pakatan Rakyat," he said.
He added his plan to return to Parliament would more than a political struggle. "It is about the dignity of the people and the future of the country."
Prepared to face what he claimed to be character assassination by his opponents, Anwar promised that he would not to resort to the same tactics.
He also expected BN to utilise the government machinery to defeat him in the by-election.
"I expect hundreds of millions of ringgit would be spent. But don't be fooled by election goodies. If they give money, just take it but vote for Pakatan Rakyat."
Anwar also promised to promote economic programmes based on open market.
"I promise that the economy will be better. And we will transform Malaysia into a new economic giant."
The Kulim ceramah is part of his roadshow since a male aide reported him for sodomy in late June, mirroring similar charges a decade ago that led to his sacking as deputy prime minister and finance minister.
Anwar has denied the accusations and has sued his accuser, 23-year-old Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, for defamation and also slander in the Shariah court.

Why Has Anwar Not Been Charged?
I am not sure how correct this is. My sense, and I have written this elsewhere, is that enough people see the current events as being a politically driven, opportunistic or otherwise, initiative aimed at weakening Anwar Ibrahim and the Pakatan Rakyat.
With all of this and more, the burning question for me is why is it that much drama later - from the highly publicized police report by the alleged victim to Anwar seeking refuge with the Turkish Ambassador to his medical examination – Anwar Ibrahim has as yet to be charged?
Considering the extent of the insistence by the Government as to there having been a basis for all that has happened, most importantly the taking into custody of Anwar Ibrahim, and the tremendous publicity given to almost every dimension of the entire sordid affair, there would be enough for the Public Prosecutor (the Attorney General) to have preferred charges already.
That is what I would have done if I was the person making the decisions (I can fantasize, small pleasures). I would have charged Anwar Ibrahim and asked for an early trial of the matter seeing as how Anwar Ibrahim, and everything that happens to him, is very much in the public interest. I would then have marshaled the evidence and presented it during the prosecution stage of the case. That would have served all interests, legal and political.
So, why hasn’t it been done? Could it be there that there is not enough to go to court on? Is the investigation aimed more at fishing than it is at forming a basis for a reasoned decision, one way or the other? Or could it be that the trial is already underway in the court of public opinion.
Judging by topical commentary, that seems to be the case. Everyone is going to town, it would seem, on Anwar Ibrahim. And, as much as Anwar Ibrahim may not draw the support of some, that is not fair. He is entitled to judged by way of a fair trial and not by way of a media frenzy.
As things stand, Anwar Ibrahim is innocent. He was acquitted of the earlier charge of sodomy. In law there is no question of factual guilt as opposed to legal guilt. His acquittal means that he was not guilty and the prosecution did not prove its case, no matter what some might say. As for the current allegations, they remain just that: allegations. Anwar Ibrahim has not even been charged, how can any one of us form the view that he did anything. The law applies equally to all.
Now can we get back to thinking about running the country ?

Doctor on the run: police want him to fabricate evidence against Anwar
On 21 July 2008, I published an article in this same column called HOW, YET AGAIN, THEY ARE TRYING TO FABRICATE EVIDENCE AGAINST ANWAR. (Read the article here ).
In that article I mentioned as follows:
You see, they asked a certain doctor from a certain hospital to conduct an examination on Saiful. The doctor did so and he came out with a report that said there is no evidence Anwar had ever penetrated or sodomised the young man. The police then picked up the doctor and detained him for three days. As much as they tried to force him to change his report to implicate Anwar he refused to do so.
Until today, the doctor stands by his report that there is no evidence Anwar had sodomised Saiful. He knows he is going to be made to pay for this but he doesn’t care. He is not going to change his report and say that Anwar sodomised Saiful whatever they do to him. Exasperated, the police had to release Anwar on personal bond or police bail. The doctor refuses to doctor his report and neither does Anwar want to volunteer his new specimen.
Well, that doctor’s name is Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid from the Hospital Pusrawi and he has now taken his entire family and has gone into hiding because the police are looking for him and they want him to change his medical report.
At 2.00pm on 28 June 2008, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Bin Azlan went to see Dr Mohamed Osman to complain about a pain he is suffering in his anus. Saiful told the doctor that he had been assaulted by ‘a very important person’ -- meaning, of course, sodomised by Anwar Ibrahim.
Dr Mohamed Osman examined Saiful but found no evidence that he had been sodomised, either by Anwar Ibrahim or anyone else for that matter. The doctor’s report (which can be viewed below) says that there is zero (0) skin tearing, zero (0) active bleeding, zero (0) traces of pus, etc., which basically means he can’t be suffering from a pain in the anus as what he alleges.
The doctor’s diagnosis is that he rules out or TRO (to rule out) assault (sodomised). In short: Mohd Saiful Bukhari Bin Azlan is not suffering any pain in the anus and neither was he assaulted or sodomised in the anus.
Saiful then said he would like to make a police report so Dr Mohamed Osman suggested he go for a second medical examination at a government hospital. Saiful did so and the doctor at the government hospital also came out with the same diagnosis. Nevertheless, Saiful still made his police report at the pondok police in the hospital.
In spite of the doctors all confirming that Saiful was never sodomised, the police still pursued the case. Anwar Ibrahim was subsequently arrested by about 20 SWAT members in Balaclavas and armed to the teeth in a dramatic movie-style action-packed drama in front of his house after he had confirmed he would be reporting to the police station at 2.00pm as required.
The police detained Anwar in the lockup until the next morning and even brought him to the hospital for examination and to try to obtain his specimen for what the police say are for purposes of doing a DNA profile. The fact that the police already have Anwar’s DNA profile from 1998, plus the doctors from both hospitals confirm that Saiful was never sodomised, did not seem to matter.
Clearly the government is attempting to fabricate evidence against Anwar and is trying to indict him on trumped-up charges of sodomy. And who but the slime-ball AG and scumbag IGP, the same two players in the 1998 episode, can be behind this latest travesty of justice.
The doctor’s report says it very clearly. Saiful was never sodomised, either by Anwar or anyone else. Why is the government still pursuing the case against Anwar? And why are they looking for the doctor who has now gone underground with his whole family?
Civil society movements, NGOs and the Malaysian Bar Council must not remain silent. The police have already detained the doctor for three days but he still refuses to doctor his medical report. Anwar did not sodomise Saiful and the doctor’s report says it very clearly. And the police also have a copy of this same report that I have published below so they know what I know. And now Malaysians also already know what I and the police know -- that Saiful was never sodomised by anyone.

Mahathir Mengaku Wujudnya Konspirasi Pada 1998
