Perak - Pengarah Jabatan Agama Islam Perak (JAIP), Datuk Jamry Sury, hari ini berkata, fatwa mengenai pengharaman senaman yoga untuk umat Islam belum dapat diterima pakai di negeri itu sebelum ia diperkenankan oleh Sultan Perak.
"Fatwa tersebut belum dapat diterima pakai di Perak kerana ia belum dibincangkan oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Perak dan dimaklumkan kepada Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak untuk selanjutnya mendapat perkenan daripada Sultan Perak," katanya.
Melaka - Kerajaan negeri akan mewartakan fatwa terhadap senaman yoga selewat-lewatnya Disember ini bagi membolehkan tindakan undang-undang diambil ke atas umat Islam yang tidak mematuhinya.
''Kita akan mewartakan fatwa ini selewat-lewatnya Disember ini. Saya akan mengadakan satu mesyuarat khas dengan Majlis Agama Islam Melaka (MAIM) untuk membincangkan perkara ini.
Selangor - Keputusan fatwa yang mengharamkan senaman yoga masih belum berkuat kuasa di Selangor kerana ia belum dibawa ke Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri, titah Sultan Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Berikut adalah kenyataan akhbar Sultan Selangor yang dikeluarkan oleh Setiausaha Sulit baginda, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani di sini hari ini mengenai perkara itu:
Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Selangor bertitah, bahawa buat masa ini keputusan fatwa yang mengharamkan senaman yoga ini masih belum berkuat kuasa di Selangor kerana ia belum dibawa ke Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Selangor.
Bangi - Ahli Panel Kajian Akidah Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (Jakim), Prof. Dr. Abdulfatah Haron Ibrahim (gambar) meminta mana-mana pihak tidak mempertikaikan fatwa mengharamkan yoga kerana tiada jaminan pengamal senaman itu tidak terjebak dalam mantera atau elemen falsafahnya.
Beliau menegaskan, ini kerana yoga merupakan 'ilham laduni' yang menerima tuhan sebagai model yang maha sempurna dan atas sebab itu bagi pengamal yoga di antara perkara utama yang dikehendaki ialah mesti melakukan senaman badan yang digelar 'asana yoga'.
''Matlamat senaman yoga ialah mahu bersatu dengan Brahma (maha pencipta), justeru agak janggal jika ada orang bukan Hindu terikut-ikut dengan senaman itu.
''Terdapat banyak risalah yang menerangkan puluhan ragam cara-cara mengamalkan senaman yoga, yang tujuan asalnya bukan untuk kesihatan badan semata-mata malah lebih jauh dari itu iaitu bersatu dengan Brahma," katanya kepada Utusan Malaysia ketika ditemui di sini hari ini.

Jangan suka meng'klas'kan ulama sebagai ulama UMNO atau ulama yang benar-benar bekerja atas urusan Allah. Jangan kerana kerajaan BN yang memerintah, maka mana-mana pihak yang berkaitan juga dipengaruhi oleh kerajaan. Fatwa pengharaman yoga sepatutnya tidak perlu dibesar-besarkan. sebenarnya takde masalah untuk beryoga.sebab kalau kita faham betul-betul akan fatwa ni kita akan tahu yang haram untuk mengamalkan yoga yang ada unsur syirik/bukan Islam tetapi yoga yang cuma mengambil hanya aspek fizikal tanpa unsur ritual masih dibolehkan.
jadi fatwa sebegini membantu golongan Muslim untuk mengamalkan yoga bagi menyihatkan tubuh badan tanpa perasaan was-was.

Biography
CARL SAGAN was the David Duncan Professor of Astronomy and Space Sciences and Director of the Laboratory for Planetary Studies at Cornell University. Nevertheless the scholar's who come from around the world including Greek, Egypt, Babylon, Arab, Jews, Europe's, whom study various discipline from India when they travel back to home country just to differentiate them self from THE ORIGINAL TEACHERS expert whom are India Rishi, Yogi, Gurus and to avoid using Vedas directly they have to renamed, modified, adopted partial knowledge drop part of it. The truth will ever reveal as it and its exist in their own language, in their own countries historical books at their own library. When the student have group name they wanted the original master 'India/Indian' to have group name and about 2039 years ago the word Hindu appear from word Sindhu River, because Arab trader couldn't pronounce Sindhu properly.
With highest compassionate an India/Indian will never simply use in ego the word oh this is knowledge from Hinduism unless until such things like Fatwa Yoga in Malaysia. Now if I use the word India, automatically the others going use word Hinduism / Sanskrit / Tamil philosophy.
